About Dr. Kronowitz

Education and Training

Dr. Kronowitz's residency training was in New York City at the famous Mount Sinai Hospital, one of the top programs in the country for general and plastic surgery. After becoming Chief Resident, Dr. Kronowitz accepted a prestigious fellowship in plastic and at the top institution in the country: M.D. Anderson. He was one of a few selected from his fellowship class and went on to be one of the youngest tenured professors in the institution's history. 

Honors and Awards

Dr. Kronowitz has been consistently awarded over the last 18 years, "America's Top Doctors" by U.S. News & World Report, Peer-Nominated Castle Connelly America's Top Doctors, Vitals Patients' Choice Recognition Award, Compassionate Doctor American Registry Recognition, America's Leading Expert Recognition. In 2016, Dr. Kronowitz was named the top plastic surgeon in Houston by The Houston Chronicle. Additionally, in 2018, Dr. Kronowitz was named a Top Cosmetic Surgeon in America by The New York Times. Additionally, Dr. Kronowitz has appeared on ABC and other national news platforms as an expert for plastic surgery. Academic and Teaching Contributions

Dr. Kronowitz has been a pioneer in the world of modern plastic surgery. Dr. Kronowitz has written more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, 49 abstracts, 33 book chapters, 3 internationally-recognized plastic surgery books, and a plethora of other academic publications. Dr. Kronowitz has trained over 250 residents and fellows in top plastic surgery  programs throughout the country. Dr. Kronowitz has been honored to be selected as a visiting professor to lecture and teach programs at prestigious institutions such as Duke, Yale, Baylor College of Medicine, NYU School of Medicine, and various other surgical associations.
